Tea time with Middle Schoolers

On March 4, all sixth grade students at Hamlet Middle School participated in a Japanese Tea Ceremony. Along with the ceremony, students got a firsthand view of a Japanese Tea House that was built in the Media Center. While sitting in the Tea House, students learned about various parts of the Japanese culture, including local symbols, decor, religion and lifestyle.
