Dear Editor,
It saddens me that when I read our Richmond County Daily Journal, I have a problem with you not giving more information of families that have passed away.
Not long ago, I had a friend from back in school that I had not seen in many years. Her father has passed away and by the Daily Journal not listing the family members anymore (unless the family pays for this to be published), it was weeks later that I found out about the death. I would like to know if the Richmond County Daily Journal requests payment for all the religious letters that are written to the Editor?
I feel if they were being charged for this service we might get to read something interesting. I am a Christian, believe in God, and read my King James Version of the Bible. It irritates me to purchase the paper and have these kinds of articles in the Editor’s column almost everyday.
It’s nice to read letters of appreciation for someone like the one from Pam Dillman. It is such a shame that there are not others that could find some things better to write about, instead of trying to argue about religion. Anyone that reads the paper will notice it is the same ones writing weekly. It would be nice if they would give each other their email address and keep in touch that way. It’s like children with drama; they should grow up and let it go. I suggest each one finds a Church of your choice and go to where you can receive a blessing. It’s all right to voice your opinion, but say what you have to say and drop it. Move on to something else.
I hope that the Richmond County Daily Journal would consider printing additional information once again when there is a death. This is our only local paper for our town and it would be nice to be able to pay respect to friends during their time of loss.

Thank you for this post. I agree with Nancy Leviner that it would be nice if the obituaries that are posted include more information. I have lived in RCO for over 20 years. I currently reside elsewhere in the state; however, I view yourdailyjournal.com daily to keep informed of events and people from my "hometown." It is a shame, as Nancy stated, that her simple request has turned into a religious debate. It is a shame that individuals who claim to be so "schooled" in biblical knowledge find it okay to argue with others when the Bible states that we are to "Seek Peace" with others. Everyone has a right to their opinion, but really? At least write about something that is relevant to the letter submitted to the editor if you choose to post a comment...Just Sayin.

Heve you checked to see how many New Testament passages of Scripture came directly from thr Old Testament. I was somewhat shocked when I found out. A little research on your part might give you some insight.
"Love your neighbor as yourself"
If we don't love our neighbor how can we say we love the Almighty YAH.
Silvadoss if you claim easy3 is just having some fun and pulling our legs, again I say for what purpose?

Who rides through the deserts,
By His Name YAH, and exult before Him.”
Mal’aki (i.e. Malachi) 3:6 “For I am YAH, I shall not change, and you, o sons of Ya’aqob/Yisra’el shall not come to an end.”
Mattithyahu (i.e. Matthew) 13:14-15 “And in them the prophecy of Yeshayahu is completely filled, which says, hearing you shall hear and by no means understand, and seeing you shall see and by no means perceive, for the heart of this people has become thickened, and their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their heart, and turn back (repent), and I heal them
Yeshayahu (i.e. Isaiah) 6:9-10 “And He said, go and you shall say to this people, hearing, you hear, but do not understand; and seeing, you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this fat, and their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and shall turn (repent) and be healed.”
Yes, it really is---such a shame.
A thousand years ago there was no English language. All of the above spoke Hebrew and/or Aramaic (see John 19:17-20;Acts 26:12-15; 2 Corinthians 11:21-23; Revelation 16:15-16).
"Love your neighbor as yourself."
Your rants are incomprehensible and distracting to the contents of the letter that was written. If you have something constructive and useful to say, please post your comments for us to understand. I know that I would appreciate it and I'm sure others would to.
