Lonnie “Steve” Stogner, 50, of 100, 4th Street , Hamlet, died, Friday, March 1, 2013, at First Health Richmond Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 19, 1962, in Ocala, Florida, son of Jim Stogner and Gladys Corgerey Stogner.

Steve was a member of Second Baptist Church of Hamlet. He always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger; his parting words were always, “Have A Good Day”!

Visitation will be Monday, March 4, 2013 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Second Baptist Church, Hamlet, with the Funeral beginning at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Chris Hawks officiating. Burial will follow at Mary Love Cemetery, Hamlet.

He is preceded in death by his father, Late Jim Stogner.

Steve is survived by his mother, Gladys C. Stogner of the home; and a host of friends.
