Harley Dakota Morse, 16, of 405 Northside Drive, Rockingham, passed away on February 17, 2013, at UNC- Chapel Hill Hospital Systems. Harley left his Earthly family to be with his Uncle Stancil and Heavenly family as a result of an automobile accident.
Harley was born on December, 11, 1996 in Pinehurst. He was the son of Jerry Morse and grandson of Julia Morse, both of the home.
Harley was a tenth grade student at Richmond Senior High School and enjoyed skateboarding, video games and just “hanging with the boys”.
Visitation and a celebration of Harley’s life will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham. A private Memorial service will immediately follow for family and close friends.
Harley was preceded in death by his uncle, Stancil Morse, formerly of Rockingham and several other family members.
Survivors include his dad, Jerry Morse and two sisters, Cher and Chey Morse all of Rockingham; his Mammy, Julia Morse of Rockingham; Poppy, Fred Morse of Rockingham; his aunt, Tammy Morse and his cousins, Brandon and Jordyn-Shae Morse, all of Rockingham.
