Karen Ann Yarbrough and Paul Anthony Brown announce their engagement and upcoming union.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Susan Yarbrough, Laurel Springs. She is a 2003 graduate of Alleghany High School, a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, with a B.A. in Physical Education and a graduate of East Carolina University with a M.A. in Health Education and Promotion.
The groom-elect is the son of Garry Brown and Cecilia Wilson, both of Rockingham. He is a 2003 graduate of Richmond Senior High, a graduate of the University of North Carolina with a B.A. in Mathematics and a B.S. and M.S. in Chemistry. Paul is currently attending the Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where he is pursuing his Ph.D in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry.
A wedding is planned for May 2013, in Laurel Springs.
