Pamela Harrison was one of five leaders to receive the Chief Nursing Executive of the Year by Health Management Associates. Harrison, who is the chief nursing executive officer at Sandhills Regional Medical Center in Hamlet, was nominated by Mike McNair, the hospital's chief executive officer. Winners are nominated based on performance and results including significant improvements in HCAHPS scores, nursing associate and physician satisfaction scores and overall quality indicator measures.
