The North Carolina Youth Shooting Foundation is kicking off its 2013 season with a new host range, the beautiful Buchanan Shoals Club. Jason Kiker, co-owner, plans to have some fun and interesting side games for the kids to shoot; the Flurry, Double Trouble, and a covered 5-stand.

“I urge you all to bring our youths out for this extraordinary day of shooting,” said Founder Rick Mitchell. “Please join me in welcoming Kurt Muggli to the NCYSF Board as our new Vice-President. Kurt, his wife and family have been involved with the NCYSF since its inception. Kurt’s son, Brandon, has progressed steadily with his shooting and is a role model for safety. I am proud to have his family and Kurt involved as Vice-President and I look forward to his input toward the direction of the NCYSF.”

A special thanks goes to Mike and Terrie Bowman for their participation in getting the NCYSF started, Mitchell said.

If you are able to attend some or most of the shoots and could help get lunch out for the kids, it would be much appreciated, he said.

If you are interested in participating, call Mitchell at 910-691-2644 or email him at rickm@nc.rr.com.
