All Richmond County government offices will be closed on Monday Jan. 21, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Richmond County Solid Waste compactor sites and the landfill will also be closed on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Rockingham’s Monday/Thursday trash routes will be collected Tuesday/Thursday and Tuesday/Friday trash routes will be collected Wednesday/Friday. As in any short week, street trash, such as leaves and limbs, is not a guaranteed pickup.
Dobbins Heights trash will be collected Tuesday/Friday.
Hamlet’s trash routes will run as normal.
Ellerbe’s trash will be collected on Tuesday.
