Patricia L. Bowers, 78, of Rockingham, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at her home.
Services will be conducted Friday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham, with Rev. Mickey Briles officiating. Interment will follow immediately at the Richmond County Memorial Park.
The family will greet friends and family one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
She was born Jan. 10, 1934, in Williams, Indiana, a daughter of the late, Morris and Vera Freeman Wagner. Bowers worked with Georgia Pacific until her retirement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Coley G. Bowers; and a brother, James Wagner.
Surviving are her son, Jeffrey L. Bowers of Winston Salem, two grandchildren; one great grandchild; and sisters; Judy Rorie of Rockingham, Sharon Meyer of Michigan, Susan Britt of Tennessee, and Jill Phillips of Indiana; brothers: Robert, Ronald and William Wagner, all of Indiana, Larry Wagner of Florida, Michael Wagner of Nebraska, Richard Wagner of Illinois and Russell Wagner of Arizona.
