Dear Editor,
To whom this may concern: I was reading about the trailers on Boyd Lake Road.
I know how the people feel. I live next to a house that’s run down falling in, and it’s really an eyesore. The owner passed away several years ago, and no one will do anything about it. I have been to Hamlet City Hall about it but still nothing.
They said they can’t get up with anyone to get permission to tear it down. There are several small children in the neighbor hood that could get really hurt or killed if they go in it.
The house is just off Gathings Street and sits on Duncan Road. I have to look at it every time I go in or out of my house. Please, if there is anyone that can do something about it, the neighbors and I would really be very thankful.
