Alexandria Paige Smith and Ryan Alexander Kentner were united in marriage on Aug. 18, 2012. The ceremony was held at Grace Church in Southern Pines, with Pastor Heath Caddell officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and Kim Smith of Southern Pines. She is also the granddaughter of Ann Bowen and Ronald Tysinger of Candor, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Nutting of Rockingham, Mr. and Mrs. C.M. Smith of Rockingham, Joyce Tysinger of Southern Pines, and the late Earl Wrightenberry.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Kentner. He is also the grandson of Jane Johnson of Blowing Rock, Mr. and Mrs. James Kentner of Blowing Rock, and Steven Vallari of Clearwater, Fla. Ryan is currently a Worship Leader of Reach Church in Leland.
The bride’s Matron of Honor was Mandy Grant and the Maid of Honor was Brooke Brabant. The bridesmaids were Victoria Kentner, Katie McKenzie, Tara Peters, Julie Price, Melanie Richardson and Tessa Sevdy. Bethany Kentner was the Junior Bridesmaid. Flower girls were Olivia Cockman, Amelia Day, Grace Nutting, Keylei Peters and Elizabeth Younkin.
The groom’s Best Men were Brandon DiBianca and Mark Kentner. Groomsmen were Joey Cox, Britain Kentner, Brandon Lugenbeel, Daniel Mebane, Alexander Roback and Jonathan Thornton. Christian Kentner was the Junior Groomsman. Ring bearers were Matthew Cockman, Ethan Kentner and Colton Grant.
The bride’s wedding dress was a Maggie Sottero Lori dress, embellished with lace on the tulle, over romance satin. The dress had an attachable A-line vintage Graham, a floral belt and signature corsett back.
The music for the ceremony was provided by the groom’s brother and sister, Victoria and Britain Kentner.
A reception followed at Little River Golf Club in Southern Pines.
