Shirley McGee Pierce, 80, passed away Thursday, November 1.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband, R. J. Pierce; her son, Jay Pierce of Laurel Hill; her daughters, Gail Niemeyer of Hamlet and Lori Teal of Rockingham; her sisters, Marie Rollins and Patricia Craddock of Laurinburg; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Born December 18, 1922 in Scotland county, she was a daughter of the late Henry T. and Georgia Brock McGee. She formerly served for years at Toastmaster.
