ROCKINGHAM – Rhonda Elizabeth Taylor Culbreth, 47, died Monday, October 29, 2012 at UNC Hospital-Chapel Hill.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Rockingham. Interment will follow in Northern Cemetery. The family will receive friends anytime Wednesday at their home.

Mrs. Culbreth was born June 11, 1965 in Scotland County, NC daughter of James Terry Taylor of Rockingham and Sarah Fields Hildreth of Marshville, NC. She was a graduate of Forest Hills High School in Marshville, NC, a former operator for Bell South and a “full time Nana”.

In addition to her parents, Rhonda is survived by her husband, William Dale Culbreth, of the home; sons, Michael Ryan Culbreth (Felicia) and Eric Taylor Culbreth (Amy), both of Rockingham; daughter, Kristin Elise Culbreth of Rockingham; sister, Wendy Ruple (Brent) of Marshville; sister of the heart, Jan Malady of Indian Trail, NC; and 4 grandchildren, Angelina Culbreth, Nathan Culbreth, Donavan Greene and Sarah Gray Culbreth.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the nurses and staff of the Oncology and BMTU of NC Cancer Hospital-Chapel Hill.
