The Hamlet Police Department recently made the following arrests:
• Julius Raheem Cole, 20, of 705 Green Lake Road, Ellerbe, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and assault on a female. He was placed under a $1,000 secured bond.
• Frederick Sanchez McRae, 29, of 26361 Cliff Gibson Road, Laurinburg, was arrested for failure to appear-operating a vehicle with no insurance. He was placed under a $500 secured bond.
• Benny Ray Spivey, 44, was arrested on two counts of failure to appear- intoxicated and disruptive and 2nd degree trespassing. He was placed under a $500 secured bond.

• Larceny was reported at a residence on Austin Street.
• Breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering was reported at a residence on Jefferson Street.
• Breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering was reported at a residence on Buttercup Drive.
• Misdemeanor larceny was reported at a residence on Taylor Place.
• Breaking and entering was reported at a residence on High Street.
• Misdemeanor larceny was reported at a residence on Highway 74.
• Breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering was reported at a residence on Lackey Street.
• Breaking and entering of a vehicle was reported at a residence on Monroe Avenue.
• Damage to real property was reported at a residence on McLean Street.
• Larceny was reported at a parking lot at Cole Auditorium.
• Injury to personal property was reported at a residence on Buttercup Drive.
