Imogene S. Kerr, 84, of Hamlet, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.
Services were held in Athens, Tennessee.
She was born Jan. 27, 1929, in Athens, Tenn., a daughter of the late, Thomas Eugene Ross and Lillie Mae Roderick Sharits. Kerr retired from Van Raalte Hosiery.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil V. Kerr; two brothers, and five sisters.
Surviving are a daughter, Saundra K. Lankford of Hamlet; a son, Michael V. Kerr of Johns Creek, Ga.; a brother, Johnny Sharits of Palm Harbor, Fla.; two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Watson-King Funeral Home of Hamlet, assisted the family.
