Rebecca Leigh Horne of Greenville and Jordan Ray Brock of LaGrange were united in marriage on Aug. 4, 2012, during a double ring outdoor ceremony at the home of Jan and Robert Rasberry in Greenville. Rev. Ed Drew officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is a graduate of Richmond Senior High School. She attended college at Pitt Community College in Greenville, and is currently employed as a sales associate at Rite Aid Pharmacy in Greenville. Rebecca is the daughter of Monica Todd Horne of Greenville and James L. Horne Jr. and wife Pamela O. Horne of Hamlet. Her grandparents are Rebecca and Doug Todd of Hamlet and the late Carol and James L. Horne Sr. of Hamlet.

The groom graduated from TL Kennedy High School in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. He is a Private First Class in the United States Marine Corps as a field radio operator. He is the son of Kay Gourlie and the late Kevin Gourlie and Pete Brock of LaGrange. He is the grandson of Frances and Charlie Radford of LaGrange and Ruthie and Ransem Carter of Kinston.

During the ceremony, the bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore a strapless bodice featuring a subtle pleating detail with a sweetheart neckline. The waist was accentuated with a floral sash and T-length tulle skirt. She carried a bouquet of red Gerbera daisies with small blue accent flowers dispersed throughout.

Rebecca chose Lindsey Robbins of Greenville as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Lauren Cale of Winterville and Ashleigh Wilson of Greenville. During the ceremony, they wore matching short apple-colored strapless dresses with ruching detail and a sweetheart neckline. Crinkle chiffon created a front cascade on the dresses.

The niece of the bride, Aiyana Raine Moore of Rockingham, served as the flower girl. She wore a Cinderalla-inspired white dress with a classic tank bodice paired with a full tulle skirt and an apple colored colored sash tied in a back bow.

Music for the ceremony provided by Digital Music Selections, operated by Glenn McCullough and Jim Rasberry.

The groom chose his uncle, Justin Radford of LaGrange, as his best man. Ushers included the bride’s brother, James Tyler Horne of Hamlet, former United State Marine Corps Sergeant and Private First Class Andres Flores of the Marine Corps.

The groom and groomsmen wore their military blue dress uniforms.

A pig pikn’ reception followed the ceremony at the home of the Rasberrys.

The couple enjoyed a wedding trip to Virgina Beach, Va., and Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Va. They will be stationed in Okinawa, Japan.
