Mr. Vuncannon was born April 17, 1944, in Richmond County, a son of the late Worth and Louise Ford Vuncannon.
He was retired from textiles where he worked in the dye house. Larry loved to hunt and fish and work on cars. He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Perakis and husband, Joe of Rockingham, one grandson Jordan Perakis, and his two dogs Bella and Peaches whom he loved dearly.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, at Mt. Calvary Rock of Ages Church Cemetery with Preacher Alex Perakis officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
