Mrs. Lossie Mae Green, 78, of 2159 S. Main St., Ellerbe, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst. Mrs. Green was born Jan. 3, 1932 in Richmond County to the late Henry Church and Maggie Little Church. Mrs. Green was a farm worker.

Family will receive friends at McLendon Funeral Home, Ellerbe, on Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, from 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Holly Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Rockingham. Burial will follow at Bear Branch Cemetery.

Surviving are two daughters, Linda Diggs of Rockingham and Phyllis Ward of Troy; five sons, Wilson Green of Mt. Gilead, James Green of Derby, Wendall Green, Billy Green, and Mitchell Green, all of Ellerbe; three sisters, Henrietta Headens of Raeford, Helen Leak and Lucille Stanback, both of Rockingham; five brothers, Lacy Crouch, George Crouch, and Frank Crouch, all of Rockingham, Elijah Crouch of Atlantic City, N.J., and Henry Crouch of Troy.
