He was born Dec. 8, 1937 in Aliey, Ga. to the late James and Lizzie Corbett McLendon.
Funeral services will be held Saturday Sept. 4, 2010 at 11 a.m. at McNeill Funeral Home Chapel.
Surviving are his wife Annie McLendon of the home; sons Willie C. McLendon of Willingboro, N.J., Kevin McLendon of Trenton, N.J., Willie C. McLendon,Jr. of Chester, Va. and Timothy McLendon of Trenton, N.J.; daughters Gwendolyn McLendon and Stephanie McLendon of Trenton, N.J. and18 grandchildren.
McNeill Funeral Home of Rockingham is in charge of the arrangements.
