Michael Maree and Melissa Bates
The bride-elect is the daughter of Clyde and Karin Young of Laurel Hill. She is a 1988 graduate of Fayetteville Community College and is employed by FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital as a certified surgical technician.
The groom-elect is the son of Ollie Maree of Rockingham and Mary Lassiter of Rockingham. He is employed with Concorde Builders as a heavy equipment operator.
The 2 p.m. ceremony will be held at Sweethaven Church with the Rev. Mitchell Roller officiating. A reception will follow at the VFW in Hamlet. Invitations and announcements will be sent to family and friends.
