East Montgomery was the NCHSAA Class 1A state-runner-up last season.
Richmond coach Paula York said her young team showed a few positives, but needs to string together consistent play.
“We were able to win some points, but we couldn’t seem to put enough of them together,” York said.
“It’s a learning experience for the girls, and we’ll keep working to get better,” York added. “We need better movement.”
The Lady Raiders host Jack Britt Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m.
