A man posing as a job applicant instead pulled a knife and tried to rob an employee at Richmond Yarns on Wednesday.

The man, described as a black male with shoulder-length dreadlocks, grabbed the attendant by the arm and placed a knife to her throat, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office. He demanded petty cash and when he was told there was no money he ran away.

No injuries were reported.

The man is described as being in his late-20’s or early-30’s, standing six foot tall and weighing 190 pounds with a medium build. He was wearing black clothing and a black baseball hat.

May be old but at least it is reported. People need to be careful working in offices where they do accept some form of payments.
