Forefathers were illegal immigrants

Dear Editor:

The forefathers came here as illegal terrorists. They weren’t immigrants looking for work, they were looking to kill and destroy for this great land.

They were bullies with guns. They brought only death, disease and pollution to this paradise, as it was at that time. They stole the land from the Indians, took away their language, and their names. And if any Indian chose to keep their language, their names and traditions, they put them on reservations.

That first, Thanksgiving wasn’t about togetherness or love, it was where the settlers fed the Indians the smallpox disease to wipe them out.

Fast-forward to the year 2010, illegal immigration still exists, only today the immigrants aren’t raging war against the descendants of the first terrorists. Instead, the illegal immigrants want to work, to earn money to buy land, not steal it.

The very same people that aren’t welcoming illegal immigrants today are the descendants of the biggest terrorist invasion in history.

The only people that have the right to say who stays in this land are the Indians. No other race or political party should have the right to.

These sad song lyrics by Paul Revere and the raiders tell the story best.

“They took the whole Cherokee Nation. And put us on this reservation. Took away our ways of life. The tomahawk and the bow and knife.

They took away our native tongue. And taught their English to our young. And all the beads we made by hand. Are nowadays made in Japan.

They took the whole Indian Nation. And locked us on this reservation. And though I wear a shirt and tie. I’m still a red man deep inside.

But maybe someday when they learn. Cherokee Nation will return. Will return!”

OK...This is my 3rd attempt to make a comment in regards to the RACIAL SLUR;ya'll know the slur Hamletresident made about my"honkey Tea Party"friends?Apparently,it's not kosher for a "honkey" like myself to rebuttle with a little racial slur of my own seeing how my former posts are not here.So I regress but do have somewhat to still say.

Ask your honkey Tea Party friends to explain it to you.

This is my last blog with the "villege idiot"!

Is it me or does it seem that SOME people are allowed preferential treatment in regards as to what is posted?Especially the ILLITERATE ones like Hamletresident...."villege"idiot"? RRReally?!Looks like you'd learn to spell before you type an insult but of course, that was just a "typo" right Hamletresident??You want to presume to TEACH me something about history with an IQ that is smaller than your shoe size...that's rrrrrreally nice of you but I'll pass.

I didn't hurl one...just pointed out that one of your liberal friends did...I speak with neither rage or dishonor...but I will speak the truth...

But watching liberal attacks over the last 8 years, I will defend conservatism aggressively - because it will save this country...

When I see insults hurled by an individual I know the opposing side has won the debate.

Bonnie how did you start this blog? With an insult right? Guess the opposing side has won! The the sweet smell of victory. Now I am older than you Bonnie so I have lived through everything that you have and then some. So just stick to the subject at hand.

Patriot you don't have to hurle an insult because someone else does.

Hamlet you did mean the 'Mayflower Compact' did you not? I've quoted it many times here. It supports my belief that this nation was built on Christian principles. It was the first U.S document. The original was lost but Bradford resorted to his own copy to reinstate it. For those who do not know its contents here is a portion of it. It was the first American document and gives us a clue as to the reason our founcers gave up their lives and fortunes to come here and turn a wilderness into the greatest nation in the world.

"In the name of God, Amen. We, whose names are underwritten, the Loyal Subjects of our dread Sovereign Lord, King James, by the Grace of God, of England, France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, e&. Having undertaken for the Glory of God, and Advancement of the Christian Faith, and the Honour of our King and Country, a voyage to plant the first colony in the northern parts of Virginia; do by these presents, solemnly and mutually in the Presence of God and one of another, covenant and combine ourselves together into a civil Body Politick, for our better Ordering and Preservation, and Furtherance of the Ends aforesaid . . . I could write on a postage stamp everything you know about history Wezley, and that goes for Bonnie also.

Did you ever hear of the "Mayflower Pact" Records were kept (for tax records among other things).

Ask your honkey Tea Party friends to explain it to you.

This is my last blog with the "villege idiot"!

It has everything to do with VJ day and all the other wars in which brave men and women sacrificed their lives to make this the land of the free and to maintain that freedom.

Freedom did not just appear out of thin air - it was bought and maintained with the blood of past generations.

Bonnie, stop it! This has nothing to do with VJ Day. The debate was going pretty well until Ms. South Carolina steps in and changes the subject.

Well I guess when all is lost in a conversation, change to your time in war. Did you land on Plymoth rock and hit your head?

Maybe if you'd keep your comments in South Carolina you'd be happy. They don't have newspapers where you live?

....or they just don't let you write letters there?

At least debate, you sure could learn a thing or two from Wezley. I think he's republican but he's sure not stupid... He knows how to DEBATE!

Bonnie can't you ever debate the letters without character assassination. Maybe if you'd keep your comments in South Carolina you'd be happy. They don't have newspapers where you live?

VJ Day - I rmember it so well and the 450,000 who did not return.

http://vimeo.com/5645171

They gave their lives to protect people like Patti. She shows no appreciation for this great nation. Only appreciation for the country. She chooses to denigrate isntead of leaving. She might apprciate Africa more, the nation that sold its own people into slavery - Jeremiah Wright does.

JethroandEllieMae....Right..I said they were not illegal but never said they were legal either.I used that to TRY and make a point but I think it went over everyone's head.

Hamletresident....Think about this term.."ILLEGAL TERRORISTS" and try to grasp the opposite.."LEGAL TERRORISTS"..ok now, what's wrong with that?Do you not see what I was simply saying?"Is there such a thing as a LEGAL terrorist? It doesn't matter if a person is a citizen..ggeeeeeeezzzzzz!!!!Never said the Vikings made a permanent settlement either,I simply said as far as "firsts" go in EXPLORATION then added that Eskimo(Asian decent) people crossed the Bering strait to settle here FIRST;in any event,GET THIS THROUOGH YOUR THICK SKULL,the forefathers were NOT ILLEGAL NOR WERE THEY LEGAL,they were ALL immigrants UNTIL the Declaration of Independence and Constitution.

The Naturalization Act of 1790 has a million amendments to it and justly so;in its' rawest form was indeed racially predjudiced but was the beginning of CONTROL of who entered and who did and could not, legally.Research is very good but understanding what you read would help.Laws have broad meanings hence Amendments to them.

NO-ONE REGISTERED with anyone.Where did you get that?Soooooo..let me see...The French registered with the Indians but decided to declare war on them afterwards?Etc etc etc...

Naturalization Act of 1790 Stipulated that "any alien, being free white person, may be admitted to become a citizen of the U.S.

1875 Supreme Court declared that regulation of the U.S. immigration is the responsible of the U.S. Government.

Yes Wezley there have been several terrorist act committed by legal citizens of this country.

That is what I just said to you Wezley, and this goes for Patti also. There was no legal or illegal immigration in the U.S. before we had a U.S. You have to have a country before you can have illegal immigration into that country. Yes people came to this country and often registered with what ever country was in power in the area they migrated into. Sometimes it was Spain, sometimes France, and sometimes England (Great Britian ) whatever. I don't recall a permanent

settlement by the Vickings.
