Shoppers can help out the Richmond County 4-H when they head to JC Penney in Rockingham to buy back-to-school clothes. From now through Aug. 17, JC Penney invites shoppers to ‘round-up’ their purchase to the nearest dollar.

The difference will be donated to the Richmond County 4-H. The funding will go to support programs in the community, such as clubs and after school curriculum.

Richmond County 4-H has partnered with JCPenney to provide children in need with access to life-enriching programs that foster their academic, physical, and social development.

JCPenney holds the “round-up” events three times a year; during the spring, during back-to-school and around Christmas.
