She was born in Petersburg, VA., on Aug. 29, 1920, daughter of Elaise Jones Pratt Williamson.
She was a homemaker, a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Richmond, VA.
Mrs. George was preceded in death by her late husband, Joseph M. George Sr.
Survivors include her daughter, Hope Pemberton of Hamlet; son, Joseph M. George, Jr. of Charlotte; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held in Warrenton, VA. Harrington Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the George Family.
