On a Saturday evening exactly four weeks later I received a phone call from the family that had found Zoey. She had been hit on Highway 177 and we owe a special thank you to the godly woman that cared enough to stop and pick her up. Her left jaw had been broken and this family took her to three different veterinarians to get her the best care possible. On Saturday evening we went to pick her up from the family that had found her and saved her life. It was a very emotional time for all of us because this family had grown to love Zoey as their own. Whitney nor I can ever repay what this caring, loving family did for our little angel.
Oh, by the way, did I mention that this family didn’t want one penny from us to repay them for the vet bills. Their response was to take the money that we would have paid them and spend it on taking care of Zoey. I believe all this happened for a reason. Surely God was working through this situation the whole entire time. It showed me and my daughter that there are still good Samaritans left in this world today. My daughter Whitney and I give God all the praise and glory for bringing our angel back to us. God bless you and thank you once again to the Billingsley family.
