The United States Achievement Academy announced that Brianna Self of Hamlet has been recognized for her academic achievement as a United States National Honor Student Award winner.

Self, who attends Hamlet Middle School, will appear in the USAA official yearbook which is published nationally.

“Recognizing and supporting our youth is more important that ever before in America’s history. Certainly, USAA winners should be congratulated and appreciated for their dedication to excellence and achievement,” said Dr. George Steven, founder of the USAA.

The USAA National Honor Student Awards provide honor students with many benefits and services and is a great tribute to a student’s dedication, talent and ability.

Brianna is the daughter of Amy Self and Eric Clewis of Hamlet. She is the granddaughter Kent and Janet Prevatte of Hamlet.
