In my eyes, this is wrong and cannot be justified by any means. I say pay your own health care and save for your retirement like the rest of us. There have been more qualified people than I that have written on this, and all have been ignored. The state’s excuse for this is, they have to keep good employees. Please! People would be standing in line for your jobs. Our Representatives are good at changing laws. Why don’t you work on this one? The states practice of this in my opinion borders on obscenity. People are tired of big government.
Some of you smart young people need to start another tea party.

I'm trying to understand how a simple discourse has always got to turn into some kind of argument and fight with you right-wingers. We come into these things trying to prove a point, and instead of arguing said point, you guys do the same three things in every message on this board:
1) You attack someone for their beliefs and call them an idiot, stupid, or 'other';
2) You use the words 'Obama' and/or 'Big Gov't' in a sentence with a very nasty descriptive term;
3) You make yourselves look like idiots.
It makes me laugh to think of how bent out of shape you guys get over these msgs on here. I can see you guys all huddled around the computer at the GOP office, arguing about the correct spelling of words so no one attacks you in the paper for it and pumping your fists and shouting when someone comes up with a good one-liner.
And for God's sake stop trying to separate yourselves from the Teabaggers. It isn't working.
I have a question for you since you are one of the "All knowing liberals" on this blog...Tell me...Name ONE President and administration that improved health care to your satisfaction or others for that matter?Obviously,you were one of those hand out liberals waiting for the Gov't. insurance plan right?Tell me how the oil company profit margins,pharmaceutical industries,and the insurance companies have ANY culpability whatsoever in the bakruptcy of middle class America,which by the way is a lie from the pits of Hell.The only middle class Americans that are bankrupt are those too ignorant to balance a check book or live within their means and not having a contengency plan for bad times.
You liberals could justify anything in your own minds,it makes me sick.
CAPITALISM is the way of our Democracy..if you do NOT like it GET OUT OF THE COUNTRY!! You can not be so jealous of those who have become wealthy because YOU ARE NOT.You can not be seriously jealous of companies that make it big when you have been afforded ALL the opportunities as others in this country.Those rich companies supply jobs in case you didn't know.It doesn't mean you are entitled to their profits too unless the company has a profit sharing programs which most do and that is a percentage.It's called a work incentive.Your health care cost is what it is an obviously as you said,you have insurance so why cry on here about a 5000.00 bill that you insurance paid?
You sound just like Ron Murray Sr....You hate companies and think that if you work for one that you should not get paid a lowly hourly wage but an enormous wage and be entitled to play golf with the CEO.Geewiz...no wonder companies hauled as* when Clinton signed NAFTA.Unions have sucked the pure life out of every cooperation they have infested.
Ms.Hussey..
Now the "freebie" mess must definitely come to a stop whether liberal or conservative.Yes we are tired of BIG gov't. and it will grow bigger under Obama if we let it.Seems that the "tea party" is working on many things and so are the conservatives.However,it is easier said than done"to buy your own health care and save for retirement for millions of Americans"Most people weekly try to make ends meet and maybe that was a little harsh to say howbeit not really wrong at all.A normal insurance policy for a family is truly too expensive for millions of Americans that are not middle class or upper middle anyway.
about individual freedom, which everyone including the rich, are are entitled to.
When government ignores the individual freedoms of the wealthy they harm the those who are not wealthy as well. No group should have their freedoms violated.
And as far as George Bush, he was not perfect in everything but he was a good leader. He made a great difference - He improved our defense which was weakened immensely under the Clinton administration. He also improved education.
Further he was decisive and honest. No bribing or offering rewards to get candidates to drop
their campaigns because he preferred another.
O the other hand, Obama has been dishonest in many ways. In addition to the bribing,, he has on numerous occasions prevaricated.
Although he claims to have never spoken to Governor Blagojevich’s or any of his representatives about a replacement for a vacant Senate seat, Tom Balanoff, who represented the Blagojevich camp contradicts, under oath, this story. . He did indeed call Balanoff, requesting that Blagojevich appoint Valerie Jarret.
Voters now realize that we chose a prevaricator-in-chief , Chicago corrupt politician to replace a down to earth, honest, decisive, president.
Now not all of this is the fault of Geo. Bush and the republican party, but he sure as bull didn't do anything to IMPROVE or lower the cost of health care. The three most lucrative industries in this country, and the major reason for bankruptcy of middle class Americans, are the profit margin of the oil industry, the pharmaceutical industry, and the insurance industry. This is a well know fact! It has been written up in several national news magazines, been televised on every major network (except Fox new), and written up in the New York Times and the WaSHINGTON pOST. IF YOU DON'T KNOW THESE FACTS YOU ARE NOT LIVING IN REALITY. This is why I call people like you, Bonnie, and Wezley stupid and ignorant! As Forrest Gump said "Stupid is as stupid does!" My Mother use to say, some people live way too long!. Your ideas and actions are a detriment to society.
I also believe that one who works toward retirement and pays into it should receive that which they paid in, whether rich or poor. There is nothing in the constitution that says government should pay into our retirment. Our children should not be forced to support us
Retirement is a good thing but should be left to the individual citizen and not be used by government as a pawn to buy votes. Washington millionaires and billionaires who make these laws have their money well protected.
