As you probably know, it has been 30-35 years since the end of hostilities in Vietnam. A large number of the Vietnam veterans became disillusioned or disassociated themselves from society, moved into the wilderness and tried to exist with their problems after Vietnam.
I served during that time and I can sympathize with the Vietnam veterans’ plight.
After all the years have passed, finally Richmond County is going to feed them a meal and welcome them home. This event will begin at noon.

So Ms. Wheeler, take back your misspelled "kudos" for "RC". It seems the county was once again too self-absorbed. I would like to add that the veterans enjoyed themselves. The food and music was the BEST thanks to the efforts of the guys BBQ from the State Championship cook-off and the musicians who suffered the temperatures. Do us all a favor and quit "spitting" on the good things we are trying to accomplish. As you are so found of pointing out to us "get YOUR facts right" before you present it for the public eyes.
Thanks to the Vietnam Veterans who did their duty for love of their country and all they want is for their country to love them back. Bless you guys and welcome home!!
