The eligibility requirements are as follows: Persons 60 or older or persons with disabilities may receive one fan per year as a gift; persons residing in a county served by Progress Energy and have a home situation where a threat to the person’s health and well being exists.
Distribution of fans will begin on July 1 and you are asked to bring proof of age. For more information contact the Hamlet Senior Center at 582-7985.
