Dequawn “Quan” Nicholson, 18, of Dunn Street, Ellerbe; Carlos “Little Cheese” Bostick, 20, of Pine Cone Circle, Ellerbe; and Kendrick Little, 18, of Robinson Avenue, Ellerbe; are all being charged in the March death of Daquan Baker. Baker was gunned down in the parking lot of an Ellerbe apartment complex.
They are all being held in the Richmond County Jail without bond.
The three join 23-year-old Cadara Armstrong of Aberdeen, who was charged with murder the day after the shooting.
Bostick and Nicholson both have cases pending in Richmond County.
Bostick is facing charges of selling or delivering cocaine and conspiracy to sell or deliver cocaine.
Nicholson is facing a pending assault on a female case. Arrest records show Nicholson has also been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and first-degree kidnapping.
Little’s record shows he’s had a previous charge of injury to personal property dismissed by the District Attorney in Richmond County, as well as being arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Armstrong, who allegedly pulled the trigger the day Baker was gunned down in Ellerbe, also has a previous criminal history.
He was previously charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to seriously injure, and a conviction of assault with intent to seriously injure.
Investigators from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office believe the shooting of Baker, 23, was related to a previous incident involving gunplay.
Sheriff Dale Furr said Baker was released from the Richmond County Jail the day before the shooting, and had been charged with firing a gun into an occupied dwelling on Dunn Street in Ellerbe. Nicholson’s home address is on Dunn Street.
Armstrong, Bostick, Little and Nicholson allegedly rode together to confront Baker at approximately 11 a.m. the day of the murder, and Armstrong is accused of shooting him in the chest multiple times.
When deputies arrived on the scene, Baker was lying on the ground beside an older model minivan.
Two residents of the apartment complex, 23-year-old Jessica Adams and a 2-year-old girl, were with the victim at the time of the shooting.
If convicted, the four men charged in the murder could be sentenced to prison for life without the possibility of parole or the death penalty.
