Congressman Larry Kissell (NC-08) spent Saturday visiting Richmond and Anson Counties, stopping by the Father’s Day Craft Fair at the Richmond County Arts Council during the afternoon. Kissell, a strong proponent of art in education, sponsors a high school Congressional Arts Competition each year for students from the 8th District. In addition, Kissell is now accepting applications for a Youth Council his office is forming. Students age 14 to 19 are encouraged to apply at www.kissell.house.gov or to get more information, please contact the Concord District office at 704-786-1612.
