The International Model Drag Racing Association returns to Rockingham Dragway this weekend for its fifth year.

Radio controlled racers from California to New York to Florida and all points in-between will take part in the IMDRA's Eastern Nationals.

R/C drag cars built at 1/10th scale will hit the 132 foot line in less than 1.4 seconds at speeds of more than 100 mph in search of the win and the possible national records.

Qualifying begins at noon on Saturday until dust. Eliminations are Sunday beginning at 11 a.m.. Attendance is free, and is located in the front parking area out side the track.
