Mrs. Linda Leigh Novack, 57, 192 Ashton Drive, Fallings Waters, W. Virginia, died Friday, May 14, 2010, at her residence.

She was born March 18, 1953, in Portsmouth, VA., daughter of Melborne LeRoy Smith and Harriett Ann Garrett Smith.

Mrs. Novack was preceded in death by her father, Melborne LeRoy Smith, Sr.; a son, Garrett L. Brownell; and her brother, Stephen A. Smith.

A graveside service will be held at Mary Love Cemetery, Hamlet, Saturday, June 5, 2010, at 3 p.m. with Rev. Elizabeth Forrester officiating.

Survivors include her husband, John H. Novack of the home; mother, Harriett Ann Garrett Smith of Falling Waters, W. VA; sons, Carson Brownell of Orlando and Cooper Brownell of Boca Raton, Fla.; brothers, Melborne LeRoy Smith Jr. of Austin, TX and Paul Garrett Smith of Waynesville and one sister, Julie Helms of Fayetteville.
