Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel officiated by Rev. Kyle Wyckoff and Rev. Craig Davis. Burial will follow the service at Pinecrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Peele was born July 24, 1923 in Marlboro County, daughter of the late Earl Hornaday and Lola Hill Hornaday. She was a homemaker and a textile worker retiring from Waverly Mills after 50 years of service.
She is survived by her four sons, Billy Earl Howell, Tony Wayne Peele, Robert Eugene Peele and Mitchell Edward Peele all of Laurel Hill; two brothers, Charles Hornaday of California, Ernest Hornaday of Hamlet; nine grandchildren, 17 seventeen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18 at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
