PitRowRadio.com and Victory Lane Productions will bring fans live, flag-to-flag coverage of the weekend’s activities including qualifying and racing, all powered by NOS Energy Drink. The weekend broadcast schedule also includes the UARA-STARS and the ASALMS Sunoco National Tour events.
Coverage begins on Friday at 1:30 p.m. ET with UARA-STARS time trials followed by USARacing’s battle for starting positions.
In true PitRowRadio form, qualifying will feature live comments and analysis from drivers immediately after and before their qualifying runs and live viewer interaction with the broadcast crew. Following qualifying for Saturday’s races, PitRowRadio will air coverage of the Sunoco National Tour’s 100 lap event at the high-banked mile oval.
Saturday coverage will hit the air at 10:30am ET for the UARA-STARS 75-lap race and continue through the post-race of the USARacing Carolina 200 presented by Black’s Tire & Auto Service.
“Each series at Rockingham this weekend has a lot of fans, sponsors and supporters across the country and we’re proud to be able to give them the live coverage that they have been begging for,” said Doc Love, producer for PitRowRadio.
“While there’s no replacement for being at the track, and we want everyone to join us there, for those unable to attend this should be the next best thing.”
The weekend’s coverage will be anchored by long-time PitRowRadio host Alan Dietz and former MRN commentator Steve Bullard. Speed TV’s Derek Pernesiglio and Pit Row Radio’s Tony Stevens will cover the pits and garage, and PitRowRadio’s longtime producer Doc Love will manage the listener’s experience during the weekend.
“I’ve always loved USARacing’s brand of short track action and have missed it ever since the early 2000’s when we did the events on radio,” said Love.
“I have very fond memories working with the series and had a great time during those broadcasts. I am thrilled and honored that everything has come together with Jimmy Wilson, the Bodenhammers, Andy Hillenburg and our staff to make this a premiere weekend for each series, the track and the fans.”
