She retired from the textile industry and was a member of Ledbetter United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Clifford Hogan, Sr. in 2001.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Ledbetter United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Skinner officiating. Burial will follow at Green Lake United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Surviving; Her children, Kay Hogan and husband Yves Lafontaine of Chapeau, Canada and John C. Hogan and wife Harolene of Rockingham; three grandchildren, John “Cliff” Hogan and Amy of Rockingham, Melissa Hogan Rhode and Thomas of Stanfield and GMC (SW) Harry “Rocky” Hogan and wife Misty of Gulfport, MS and nine great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home of her son John C. Hogan, 127 Pinecrest Trail Rockingham, NC 28379.
