Mr. Sessoms was born May 18, 1936 in Scotland County, son of Woodrow Sessoms and Famie Watson Sessoms.
He was self employed as a carpenter.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 2, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the Watson Family Cemetery .
Mr. Sessoms was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Sessoms and mother, Famie Watson Sessoms.
Survivors include his daughter, Ann Sessoms of Florence, S.C.; sons, Mike Sessoms of Laurinburg, Greg Sessoms of Southern Pines and David Sessoms of Hamlet; mother Mildred Sessoms; His sisters, Ruth Southard of Monroe, Brenda Steele, Betty Hemphill, Annette Euwing, Tammy Sessoms and Lisa Hernandez; brothers, James, Doug, Charles and Tim Sessoms; Eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Harrington Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Sessoms family.
