Mr. Wiley Junious Ratliff, 54, of the Chapeltown Community in Rockingham died on April 26, 2010. He was born May 8, 1955, son of Elizabeth Harrington Ratliff and the late James Nathaniel. He served in the U.S. Air Force.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Saint Stephens Missionary Baptist Church in Rockingham with the Rev. Gregory K. Freeman, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth of the home; his wife, Wilhelmina “Cece” Ratliff; one daughter, Alicia Giddiens and one son, French Nathaniel both of Norlina; two sisters, Sadie Johnson of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Annie Black of Hillside, N.J. and two brothers, John Harrington and Joseph “Jake” both of Rockingham.

Public viewing will be held on Friday 1-7 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Service of Rockingham.
