Richmond returns to action Saturday, April 10 at the Mustang Classic at North Moore. The Lady Raiders are scheduled to play at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Actually Corey had nothing to do with that, it depends on the sports editor. However, David is currently a one-man show right now. And it's very difficult to be in 100 places at once. Perhaps cutting him a little slack is in order.

pipjuice I was wondering the same thing, seems this new sports reporter is bias to boys sports or doesn"t think girls sports especially jv is important. We need Cory Davis back. Not many games of any kind at Richmond that he didn"t try to attend and give coverage.

Richmond Softball did not take over sole possession of first place, Purnell Swett is also 3-0 in the SEC with their win last night over Lumberton.

I was just wondering, why is it that everytime the Richmond Sr. High J.V. Softball team has a game whether it be home or away, never gets the recognition of being in the Daily journal, not to mention that they are undefeated, but I guess that doesn't matter because all people seem to care about is the varsity baseball and the varsity softball team. Maybe for a chance, it would be nice to see our J.V. girls name in the paper for trying to work hard at something they love to do, which is playing softball.
