“There were officers on the scene, and an investigation is underway,” Rockingham Police Chief Robert Voorhees said Wednesday.
Rockingham’s fire and police departments responded to the scene, and the blaze was extinguished.
Voorhees said no one was at home at the time of the fire.
Rockingham Fire Chief Chuck Gardner couldn’t be reached at press time.
