A Rockingham man faces five felony counts stemming from an investigation into drug activity on Galestown Road in Rockingham by the Richmond Sheriff’s Office Vice Unit.
Anthony Dramane “Drummy” Allred, 38, of 187 Galestown Road, was placed in the Richmond County Jail under a $30,000 bond on five felony counts Friday after he sold more than an ounce of crack cocaine to a confidential informant.
A subsequent search of Allred’s home uncovered another 44.6 grams of crack cocaine, a set of scales and an assault rifle.
He is charged with two counts of trafficking in cocaine and one count each of possession of a firearm by a felon, maintaining a dwelling used for keeping or selling a controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle used for keeping or selling a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Other arrests reported by the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office include:
James Russell “Rusty” Hash, 29, of 138 Maner Road, Rockingham, and Chantil Mulwee Burnett, 29, of Berry Trail, Wadesboro, were both arrested Monday in connection with the breaking and entering of a home on Washington Street Extension in Rockingham.
More than $12,000 worth of electronics, computer equipment, jewelry and other items were reported stolen from the home after the back door was busted in with a blunt object.
Both are charged with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny after breaking and entering. Both bonds were set at $25,000.
Sayquan Damaterius Baker, 23, of Dunn Street, Ellerbe, was arrested for discharging a firearm into occupied property. Bond was set at $1,000.
Tamesha Maria Monroe, 22, of Batton Road in Hamlet was arrested for felony motor vehicle rental fraud and misdemeanor failure to return rental property.
Justin Phillip Bittle, 17, of 2nd Street Safie, Rockingham, and Michael Aaron West, 18, of Hannah Pickett Avenue, Rockingham, were arrested for felony larceny March 10 in connection with the January theft of a dirt bike.
Both men were put under $2,000 bond.
