Shawn and Heather Paxton of Rockingham announce the birth of a son, Ty Alexander Paxton, born Dec. 10, 2009, at 9:32 p.m. at Firsthealth Moore Regional Hospital. He weighed 7lbs 1oz and 20 3/4 inches long. His grandparents are Richard and Ann Brigman, of Rockingham, and Patricia Hatcher, of Rockingham. John D. and Brittney N. Quick of Pembroke, Ga. announce the birth of a daughter, Audrina Marie Feb. 22, 2010, at Memorial University Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. Audrina weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces and was 20 inches long. Her grandparents are Robin and Todd Horne of Ellerbe; Tamara and John Paul Johnson of Pembroke, Ga. and Doug and Austin Quick of Hamlet. Her great-grandparents are John Hill and the late Ruby Hill of Ellerbe; Harold and Ann Quick of Hamlet; Bob and Patsy Horne of Havre, Montana; Jim and Carolyn Blankenship of St. Marys, Ga. and Vernon and Jan Lowdenslager of Fernandina Beach, Fla. Her great-great grandmother is Virginia Quick of Hamlet.
