Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, in the Booby Lammonds Memorial Chapel at Russell-Marks Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Rankin and Bishop Marvin Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Northam Cemetery Extension.
Bennie was born in Scotland County on Nov. 22, 1967 to Elizabeth Honeycutt Mauldin and the late Bennie H. Mauldin. He was a musician and singer.
He is survived by his mother, Janie Elizabeth Mauldin of Rockingham; two sisters, Faye Jeter and Shirley Brayboy, both of Rockingham; and three brothers, Timothy, Ross and Michael Gibson, all of Rockingham.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Russell-Marks Funeral Home.
