Christopher Michael Fleishman, 28, Pappy Rabb Road, Ellerbe, was traveling north on Jones Spring Church Road when he crossed the center line, overcorrected and veered off the road to the right.
The vehicle overturned several times, according to reports.
Fleishman’s estimated speed prior to the accident was 75 miles per hour, in a 55 miles per hour zone, according to reports from the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
He was transported to Carolina’s Medical Center.
Fleishman was cited with a left of center violation.
Damage to his 1997 Ford was estimated at $10,000.

Michael Andew Milligan, 21, West Ridge Court, Rockingham, was involved in an accident on Feb. 9 on U.S. 220 after he lost control of his vehicle and traveled off the road to the right and hit several small trees.
He was transported to FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital.
He was cited by troopers with failure to maintain lane control.
Damage to his 1994 Nissan was estimated at $950.
On Feb. 8, Jasmine Nicole Gallant, 25, Charles Avenue, Fayetteville, fell asleep at the wheel around 7:45 a.m. while driving east on Hwy. 74. She veered off the road to the left and into a median.
Striking the median barrier cables, she skid against the median for approximately 45 feet.
Gallant was given a reckless driving citation.
Damage to her 2009 Chevrolet was estimated at $4,000.
Around 1 a.m. on Feb. 6, Anthony Wade Locklear Jr., 20, Turnpike Road, Laurinburg, was traveling along Bostick Road when he collided with a fallen tree lying in the roadway.
Initial speed of impact was estimated at 55 miler per hour.
Damage to his 2002 Ford was estimated at $2,500.
Deborah Annette Harris, 30, Hannah Pickett Avenue, Rockingham, and Shanese Shaunquel McCray, Maple Leaf Drive, Hamlet, were involved in an accident on Feb. 5 around 2:15 p.m. as both vehicles were traveling on U.S. 1.
According to reports, Harris was exceeding a safe speed around a corner and crossed the center line. She hit McCray’s vehicle which was traveling in the opposite direction.
Both parties were transported to FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital.
Harris was cited with a left of center violation.
Damage to Harris’ 1993 Honda was estimated at $3,000 and damage to McCray’s 1995 Pontiac was also estimated at $3,000.
Forrest Glenn McBryde Jr., 81, Millstone Road, Ellerbe, and Linda Rhodes Gulledge, 60, Green Lake Road, Rockingham, were involved in an accident on Sandhill Game Road on Feb. 3 when McBryde failed to yield to the right of way, colliding with Gulledge.
McBryde’s car overturned after impact and came to rest in the intersection of Sandhill Game and Ellerbe Road.
McBryde was transported to FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
He was cited with a failure to yield violation.
Damage to McBryde’s 2004 Ford was estimated at $10,000 and damage to Gulledge’s 2001 Pontiac was estimated at $1,500.
