Unborn enemies don’t fight

Dear Editor,

“Eugenics” (a term coined by Charles Darwin’s cousin) is “the science of improving a human population by controlled breeding ... .” After the Vicil War, an organization named the American Eugenics Society was founded. The AES tried to use “research” and legislation to promote birth control, abortion and forced sterilization. The AES tried to play God.

At that time, the use of or promotion of birth control was illegal in the United States. AES leaders needed someone who could market their very unpopular ideas to the general public. They chose Margaret Sanger.

In 1921 Margaret Sanger wrote, “ ...the campaign for birth control is not merely of eugenic value, but is practically identical in the ideal with the final aim of eugenics.” The “final aim” of eugenics is the elimination of what they consider the “undesirables” from society. I’ll not go into detail, but suffice it to say that Margaret Sanger was an anti-Christian, a racist, a welcome speaker at Ku Klux Klan meetings, and a recipient of Hitler’s praise.

She knew her views were very unpopular, but she had a plan. First, she changed the name of the organization to Planned Parenthood. Secondly, she actively sought ministers to help further her cause. In a letter to a friend written in 1992, she outlined a plan to get ministers to endorse the Planned Parenthood program.

Margaret Sanger was more successful than she ever dreamed. Today, birth control and even abortion are acceptable in many churches. Satan used Margaret Sanger to kill potential Christians before being born (over 50,000,000 legal abortions) or even before being conceived. Unborn enemies don’t fight back.

There may be rare circumstances in which God leads a Christian to use birth control or abortion. However, many need repentance-accepting God Control not Man and Woman Control.

The comments posted so far are excellent reasons why abortion is a positive thing! The gene pool seems to be mighty shallow around here! Where did you people get your education???

Bonnie, exactly where did "overhear" Obama say this? Is this another one of those fox news clips?

I wrote a correction for this blog stating that I needed to either pay more attention to the spell check or stop blogging. So far Bacon has not printed it!

Hamletresident

looks to me that YOU could use some schooling onyour spelling. Predigest? Envirement? You better be glad the RCDJ don't count spelling on the comments. Do you feel it is "cool" to call out Jay and point out to the public who he is and what kind of vehicle he drives. That was a cheap shot but it don't surprise me from an ignorant person such as yourself. By the way, Jay is perfectly within his rights to post anti-abortion stickers anywhere he chooses. Has anyone complained that he was in the class teaching his beliefs to a child. I doubt it. And even if he DID teach a child of yours, your child would probably wind up teaching you a thing or two. To everyone else, I have an abortion DVD at home (won't name the people that sent it) but it would truly make you sick to look at the tiny arms and tiny legs that have been ripped from the woman's body. But hey, thats her "right" to do so. Not by my opinions, but the ACLU would be quick to point this out. Thats ok people, you can take it to the bank that Jesus Christ WILL have HIS day and have HIS way and this bloody murder of 3000 innocent babies per day will cease to exist! Thank you Jesus!!!!!!

And not only that Jay, but you are also prejudice in for good measure. I have got to quit blogging or check my spell check closer!

Jay how many times have you been divorced? Why is it that those who have made the most mistakes in their life feel they know exactly what is right and wrong for everyone else? Get a grip Jay. You are predigest against women; you are predigest against gays; you are predigest against Jews and and anyone of another religious belief other than a fanatical form of fundamental Christianity. You know what Jay, what really bothers me about you is that you ride around with anti-abortion signs all over your van and write fanatical letters to the local newspaper and TEACH SCHOOL IN RICHMOND CO. (or I guess you still teach) Boy if you were teaching a child of mine I would be screaming to the school board at the top of my lungs and doing speed dial to the ACLU!!!!!!!!!!!! You are the last person I know, that I would want my child to be exposed to in an educational envirement!!!!!!!

Obama is not against abortion...I heard him say, while discussing abortion, if one of his daughters made a mistake (get pregnant) he didn't want them PUNISHED with a baby. How can he be against abortion and promote it for his daughter.

It seems that late term abortions are very similar to killing babies. We have an interest in protecting babies, so I'm against them. Early abortions are different. I know, I know, genetically it's a person. But, isn't what makes us fully human, that our brains have developed enough to be aware of our own existence and the existence of others? Isn't that what separates us from most of the other animals? An early developing fetus does not have that; The fetus' is not aware of it's existence, so, except for religious reasons, why would we value it as if it wee human? For those who are Christians, or religious, if you have an objection to early abortions, because according to you and your excited preachers, unborn babies are fully human and have souls, then, so what? Prove it?

It seems if any pro-life person were as concerned with ending abortions as they say, they would reach across party lines for a start.... For those of you who don't know, President Obama is very much for REDUCING GREATLY the number of abortions in this country. Why not start there? Why not DO SOMETHING instead of another 10 or 20 years of using abortion as a political platform.

It seems to me, anyone who is truly concerned enough to base their entire vote and political stance on abortion would jump at the chance to make some sort of headway at reducing the number of lives aborted each year!

In what way is this all or nothing, political grand standing approach helping the actual cause you believe in so deeply?

Good point, mywolf. Mr. Shutt, if you want to stop women from getting abortions, why don't you push for more efficient ways of birth control--at least for married couples who don't want and/or can't afford any more children? If you have a problem with the pill, what about vasectomies? This world is grossly overpopulated, especially in impoverished countries and in predominantly Catholic countries where birth control is highly frowned upon if not illegal? If you don't want women on welfare either getting abortions or breeding like rabbits, wouldn't affordable contraceptives and birth-control education be more logical and cost-effective? Oh, that's right, you're a big upright holy-rolling so-called Christian and you don't want to hear any of that. I think I've wasted a nice snowy morning writing this. Have a good day and go out and have a snowball fight or something.

Ah.... Mr. Shutt,

I have often wondered why the male species persists in controlling the rights of females? Those who cannot have children protest the loudest. I assume that you use condoms, have a vasectomy or do not engage with childbearing age females.

Before abortion was legal, women died from medical hacks in back alley rooms because they could not support a child. Have you researched the latest statistics on fathers who are dodging their responsibility to pay child support? These dead beat dads should be accountable. A fetus does not have a beating heart until after six weeks in the womb. There are over 500,000 children waiting to be adopted. Once the child reaches legal age, he/she is tossed out of the orphanage to fend for his/herself. Ministries are touting anti-abortion and "adopt a child" programs but isn't it rather odd that these rightous people fund adoption programs for countries other than the U.S.?

Yes indeed.....Vicil War?
