A man was hospitalized after an altercation on Jan. 26 when a woman ran over his foot with a car.
According to reports from the Rockingham Police Department, an argument between a couple on Midway Drive started around 11 p.m. and moved from the home into the roadway as the woman attempted to enter her vehicle.
The man was standing towards the back of the vehicle and refused to let the woman leave the area.
Reports than say the woman began to back up to leave, but clipped the man on his knee and ran over his foot in the process.
The victim was transported to FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital where officers noted in the report that he did no appear to suffer any substantial injuries.

A woman reported having a cable account set up in her name under false pretenses.
A 52-inch television set valued at $1,000 was reported stolen from a home Pine Ridge Drive.
Someone reported an assault on a female on North Stewart Street.
A glass storm door was reported smashed by homeowners on Rush Street.
More than $600 in items were reported stolen during a break-in on Cauthen Drive. Jewelry and medications were among items stolen.

Thomas Lamont Covington, 39, Leak Street, Rockingham, was arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond was set at $98.
Arthur Jamar Bostic, 24, Hwy. 74, Rockingham, was arrested for misdemeanor assault to inflict serious injury and misdemeanor assault on a female.

Tommy Lee Nunley, 41, Battley Dairy Road, Hamlet, was arrested for misdemeanor leash law violation. Bond was set at $500.
Dustin Wayne Coble, 19, Hamlet Avenue, Hamlet, was arrested for felony larceny and felony larceny of a firearm. Bond was set at $5,000.
Anjellica Janielle Carter, 18, Ellen Drive, Hamlet, was arrested for misdemeanor larceny and felony obtaining property by false pretense. Bond as set at $1,000.
Chies Tillman Davis, 48, Hamlet Lake Court, Hamlet, was arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond was set at $500.
Ryan McRae Steagall, 25, Rollins Avenue, Hamlet, was arrested on two counts of misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond was set at $2,000.

A saw valued at $180 and a shop vacuum also valued at $180 were stolen from a porch on Richmond Avenue in Hamlet.
A $450 iPod Touch was stolen from someone’s vehicle and sold to a local pawn shop.
Two gaming consoles were stolen from a residence on Sycamore Street. Property missing was valued at a total of $550.
