While area forecasters have predicted everything from snow to ice and sleet, the National Weather Service said, “the exact precipitation type and amounts are uncertain at this time.”
The weather service recommend residents keep an eye of the forecasts during the next several days.
The forecast for Friday calls for a chance of rain and snow after 11 a.m., cloudy with a high near 40. The chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
Friday night, the chance for rain and snow is before 9 p.m., with rain or freezing rain, cloudy, with a low around 32. The chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
Saturday, rain or freezing rain is forecasted before 2 p.m., followed by a chance of snow, cloudy, with a high near 33. The chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
The low Saturday is forecasted around 20, with another chance of snow.
But Sunday and Monday look to be sunny with highs near or in the 40s.
