Information received by Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Unit helped to nab a man suspected of narcotics activity on Jan. 6.
Marty Thomas Terry, 37, Watkins Loop, Rockingham, was arrested by Richmond County Sheriff’s deputies on Jan. 6 for felony possession with intent to sell and distribute marijuana and two counts of failure to appear.
Officers received reports of drug activity at Terry’s residence and upon further investigation, he was placed under arrest and charged, according to reports.
He was found in possession of 5.4 grams of marijuana.
Terry also had two outstanding child support warrants.
His bond was set at $29,128 and is being held in Richmond County Jail.
Arrests reported by Rockingham Police Department include:
n Elaine Leviner, 50, Osborne Road, Rockingham, was arrested for misdemeanor second-degree trespassing. She was released with a written promise to appear in court.
n Leann Elizabeth Young, 16, Steele Street, Rockingham, was arrested for misdemeanor communicating threats. She was released with a written promise to appear in court.
n Christopher Chad Leviner, 22, Osborne Road, Rockingham, was arrested for misdemeanor communicating threats. He was released with a written promise to appear in court.
n Tinea Janay Middleton, 19, Taylor Place, Hamlet, was arrested for misdemeanor injury to real property, misdemeanor first-degree trespassing and misdemeanor communicating threats. Bond was set at $1,000.
n Cordaro Parker, 20, JFK Drive, Rockingham, was arrested for misdemeanor assault by pointing a gun. He was released with a written promise to appear in court.
n Earl Summers, 44, Mill Road, Rockingham, was arrested for protective order violation.
n Gloria Ann Little, 43, Montclaire Avenue, Rockingham, was arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond was set at $4,000.
n Domanic Bernard Allbrooks, 24, Steele Street, Rockingham, was arrested for misdemeanor simple assault.
Incidents reported by the Rockingham Police Department include:
n A man on Beaverbrook Court was reported communicating threats.
n Loss prevention at a business on East Broad Avenue reported the theft of several items from the store.
n A bank on Rockingham Road reported receiving three counterfeit bills found in nightly deposits from three separate Rockingham businesses.
n A Lady Mary Lane resident reported her $145 cell phone stolen.
n A homeowner on County Home Road reported an attempted breaking and entering. Both the front and back door were reported damaged totaling $200.
n On Hood Street, a resident reported $300 in cash, $20 in alcohol and $250 in electronics stolen from their home. A door was also damaged during the break-in.
n Someone on Oak Street reported a suspect communicating threats.
n A Rockingham rental business reported a patron renting a $1,543 laptop and not keeping up with payments.
n Paint on a vehicle sitting on Steele Street was reported scratched off.
n On Cauthen Drive, a homeowner reported nearly $700 in property missing.
n A GPS unit was stolen from a vehicle parked outside of a Rockingham business. Victim noted the vehicle was unlocked at the time.
n The clerk at a local pharmacy reported a male attempting to pass a counterfeit $100 bill. Once the clerk checked the bill, the suspect denied knowing it was fake and handed her a genuine note.
