The bride is the daughter of James Carpenter and Kay and Jarrell Todd. She has her associates degree in nursing and is a registered nurse at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg.
She is the granddaughter of Blanche Cummings of Rockingham.
The groom is the son of Larry and Brenda Herberg and Shirley and Ken Mills. He is the owner of Herberg Siding and Home Improvement.
He is the grandson of Rosa Mae.
The ceremony was at Jefferson Park Baptist Church and was officiated by Roger Webster.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, James Carpenter.
The couple’s daughter, Paige Herberg, was the soloist.
The bride wore a white trumpet-style strapless gown with a cathedral train. There was beading on the bodice and the gown.
She wore a crystal tiara with a waist-length veil. She carried a bouquet of lavender Gerber daisies mixed with lavender and dark purple roses, baby’s breath and ivy.
The maid of honor was Christy Herberg, daughter of the bride and groom. She wore a knee-length strapless gown in varying shades of lavender and purple with a rhinestone brooch at empire waist.
Paige Herberg, daughter of the bride and groom, was the bridesmaid. She also wore a knee-length strapless gown in varying shades of lavender and purple with a rhinestone brooch at empire waist.
Summer and Zoey Herberg, daughters of the bride and groom, were the flower girls and wore tea-length dresses in varying shades of lavender and purple with a rhinestone brooch and an empire waist.
Bobby Heaton was the best man.
Ushers included Larry Herberg, father of the groom, Ken Mills, step-father of the groom, Kenneth Carpenter, brother of the bride, James H. Carpenter, brother of the bride, Raymond Mills, half-brother of the groom and Jeff Barrington, step-brother of the groom.
The reception was at the fellowship hall of Jefferson Park Baptist Church. The couple took their wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C.
